As Founder and CEO, John’s vision was to build a culture that blended the best of his training as a naval officer with the deep curiosity and energy that sparks innovation. Focused on guiding the company’s strategy, John leads business development while managing strategic partnerships and key customer relationships. His ability to manage large-scale engagements delivering meaningful brand and campaign experiences for global clients has been pivotal in the rapid growth of Wasabi Rabbit. Prior to founding the company, John held significant leadership positions at large, publicly traded companies, advertising agencies and technology start-ups. A Captain in the US Navy reserve and a veteran of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI Freedom, John was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for his service in the Arabian Gulf conflicts. A United States Naval Academy graduate, John also holds an MBA (cum laude) in Finance & Management from the F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, and an MS in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School. He lives in Manhattan and is the proud father of ‘three under four’.
